It may be the Fourth of July, but beyond the amateurs on your block with a burning need to launch colorful lights into the air, you’ll be hard-pressed to find fireworks in Dutchess County.
In Amenia, a free display will begin at 9:30 p.m., with fireworks shot from behind the fire house on Mechanic Street, and the town hall parking lot, the Mechanic Street and Rail Trail parking lot, and Route 343 west near the fire house suggested as the best places to watch.
Outside of Amenia, options are limited.

In 2016, a law went into effect that allowed dogs to eat at restaurants with their owners. I was thinking, how cool! I can finally grab something to eat, while I am out with the Puppas, and don t have to run them home first.
