NewsClick founder Prabir Purkayastha and human resources department head Amit Chakravarty have been sent to 10-day judicial custody by a Delhi court. They were arrested under the anti-terror law UAPA on allegations that the news portal received money to spread pro-China propaganda. The court noted that there is no stay by the Delhi High Court against the proceedings in the case.
