Image: Met Police A new appeal for witnesses and information has been released by the Met Police today (Wednesday, April 7) following the fatal stabbing of Reece Young in Croydon last month. 23-year-old Reece was stabbed and killed during an altercation on Alpha Road on Tuesday, March 30, around 9.10pm when police were called. As the Croydon Guardian reported previously, the stabbing happened as people gathered for a vigil remember 19-year-old Tai Jordan O Donnell. Tai had been fatally stabbed on the same road just days before, on March 3. Police said previously they believed a number of people witnessed Reece s fatal stabbing at the vigil on March 30.

Detectives working on the murder investigation into the fatal stabbing of 19-year-old Tai Jordan O Donnell said that a 26-year-old man was arrested yesterday (Monday, March 8) on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody at a south London police station. Kamila Ahmad, 22, of Robinhood Lane, Mitcham, was previously arrested and was charged with murder on Sunday, March 7. She is due in court, at the Old Bailey, tomorrow.
