Man who bragged about impaired driving sentenced to jail Poll Yes A Lethbridge man who bragged to police he’s a great drunk driver, will spend the next several weeks behind bars. Richard Wayne Daye pleaded guilty Thursday in Lethbridge provincial court to one count of impaired driving, and was sentenced to three months in jail. Court was told the man’s blood-alcohol readings were more than three times over the legal limit, and when he was booked into the cells at the police station, he boasted, “I am a fantastic impaired driver, I have been doing it for 27 years”.
