Pretending a problem doesn’t exist doesn’t make it go away.
This concept is apparently foreign to the Edmonton police, whose social media team put out a rather tepid, nothing-to-see-here statement on Feb. 20 just hours after what was ostensibly billed as a demonstration against COVID-19 public health orders.

“Several hundred protesters converged on the Alberta Legislature for a rally today, the vast majority of whom exercised their freedom of expression peacefully and respectfully,” the statement read.
