People need to follow public precautionary measures and health guidelines to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
This was emphasised again by members of the National Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus (COVID-19) during a press conference held yesterday at the Crown Prince Centre for Training and Medical Research, Bahrain Defence Force Hospital.
They stressed that the best way to prevent the spread of the virus is by following all health and precautionary measures such as wearing face masks, observing social distancing, limiting family gatherings, avoiding large crowds, and getting vaccinated.
After all, this commitment to the precautionary measures is everybody’s responsibility to keep everyone and the community safe.
Vaccines prove effective says Bahrain taskforce
MANAMA, 18 days ago Bahrain s National Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus (Covid-19) has stressed on the benefits of vaccines, urging citizens and residents to register for vaccination against the pandemic. At a press conference to provide an update on the kingdom’s Covid-19 response, at the Crown Prince Centre for Training and Medical Research, Bahrain Defence Force Hospital, Lt Col Manaf Al Qahtani, Infectious Disease Consultant & Microbiologist at the BDF Hospital and member of the taskforce, said that vaccines reduce the risk of serious complications associated with Covid-19, including death, and are effective in slowing existing and new variants, a Bahrain News Agency report said.

Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi lauded the dedicated patriotic efforts and the honourable sacrifices made by the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) to safeguard security, peace and stability.

The new Covid-19 variant has been discovered among active cases in Bahrain, revealed Health Ministry Undersecretary Dr Waleed Al Manea.
The National Taskforce for Combatting the Coronavirus senior member urged people to adhere to precautionary measures in place to combat the pandemic spread.
He was speaking at a press conference at the Crown Prince Centre for Training and Medical Research at the BDF Hospital.
It has also been announced that all government and public schools will be suspended from January 31, as a precaution, as will indoor dining at restaurants. Prev Post
