Campaigners are dismayed by a lack of findings or proposals from a much anticipated MP report on assisted dying, with terminally-ill campaigners branded it a disappointment.
Assisted dying being legalised in at least one jurisdiction of the UK or Crown Dependencies is looking "increasingly likely" and the government must be "actively involved" in discussions about what to do if that happens, MPs have said.
The Childline Founder said she was disappointed that MPs who spent a year examining the evidence on assisted dying did not call for an urgent Parliamentary debate and vote.
