West Virginia s congressional delegates in the United States House of Representatives, Rep. Carol Miller and Alex Mooney, both Republicans, split their votes on a bill that overwhelmingly passed the House designed to locate and research abandoned gas and oil wells. The bill is the Abandoned Wells Remediation, Research and Development Act, on which Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., and Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va. were noncommittal Thursday.
