With the contract for a postmaster to take over running New Ross Post Office due to go out this week, questions remain about what, exactly, An Post’s plans are for the Charles Street premises, according to Cllr Michael Sheehan.
Following an intervention by Minister of State James Browne and a campaign in New Ross, Charles Street will remain the location of the post office for the foreseeable time.
