CHILLICOTHE- The Paint Valley Board of Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health is asking for a renewal of their one-mill tax levy on the November ballot, according to Penny Dehner, Executive Director of Paint Valley ADAMH in a meeting with commissioners Monday.
The one-mill levy costs $35 a year to a Ross County homeowner with a home valued at $100,000, said Ross County Auditor Tom Spetnagel.
In Fiscal year 2020, the local levy brought in $4,771,567 for ADAMH, according to data provided by Dehner
The organization also brought in $1,026,471 from federal sources and $1,626,328 from the state, along with $2,795,746 from grants for a total of $10,220,113.
