At the weekend, we shared a list of ten of the best salons across Bradford according to Google Reviews, with several 5-star rated premises making the list. Following the publication of the list, people shared their favourite hairdressers and barbers and why they are the best. Many people couldn’t wait to get back to see their hairdresser last week after hair salons reopened on April 12, along with non-essential retail, pubs, restaurants and gyms, following the latest easing of the third national lockdown which has been in place since January 4.
Earth Gathering returns to Chillicothe for 21st annual celebration
CHILLICOTHE Two decades ago, Shelly Pocock set out to create an event that differed from other Earth Day celebrations. Then, the Earth Gathering festival was formed.
It s an art festival with an earth-centric twist that the founder designed to educate, entertain and enlighten the public. Through art, music, food, goods and ideas, attendees are encouraged to learn about and connect with the Earth. I think Earth Gathering has affected many in a positive way, and although this is a scaled-down event, everyone who has attended over the past 21 years knows the intent is understood, Pocock said.

Anything not available outside this year, such as pottery, may be found for sale inside the Pump House. Participating organizations include Chillicothe Art League, Pump House Center for the Arts, City of Chillicothe Tree Commission, League of Women Voters, Ross Litter Control & Recycling with RPHF Solid Waste District, Chillicothe Trails with Ross Co. Park District.
