Apparently trying to cross this section of branch avenue when she was struck by a Metro Transit Police cruiser and suffered severe injuries as a result. Medics Metro Transit Police supervisors and pgpd all responded. The woman was transported to the hospital in critical condition. A spokesperson for Metro Transit Police tells me the officer involved was driving in routine status not responding to emergency calls and lights and sirens were not active.
