This March 2020-born heifer from Roscommon breeder John Rafferty sold for €2,650.
The Moyside and Croghan Shorthorn breeders club held a sale of bulls and heifers in Elphin Mart last week.
Trade was brisk, with a few very fancy prices for some of the best heifers in the sale.
Following the cancellation of its Roscommon premier sale, the club decided to put on the sale and attracted 33 cattle to the evening sale, which was conducted through Martbids.
This April 2020-born heifer from Mayo breeder Michael Flately sold for €2,200.
Heifers were met with flying trade, with a number of very good customers for top-quality heifers.
