2020 has been a year like no other. Here we look back at Cumbria 2020, the highs, lows and the impact of the global pandemic on the county. Lockdown continued throughout April; although the sun shone every day there were worrying statistics emerging about Cumbria’s very high Covid-19 infection rates. The family-run Bath House, based in Sedbergh and Dent, switched production from luxury skincare and perfume to give thousands of bottles of hand sanitiser to the NHS for free.
