菲律賓宿霧市知名景點蒂努布丹瀑布（Tinubdan Falls），26日發生洪災意外，當時瀑布水位突然暴漲，導致在下游的遊客們逃難不及，紛紛遭洪水沖走，其中有一家三口因此喪命。綜合外媒報導，該瀑布為當地的旅遊勝地，因此每到假日總會吸引許多遊客前來，估計事發當天有百人造訪該瀑布。然而，當時有不少民眾坐在瀑布岩石上拍照休憩，上游處卻突然有人大喊「危險」，下秒，瀑布水位瞬間暴漲，不到1分鐘內，就將來不及反應的遊客們，沖到下游區域。
