CDP, formerly known as the Carbon Disclosure Project, is a London-based non-profit that gathers, distributes and promotes information on environmental issues. Its 2020 list includes more than 300 companies being touted as A-list firms for their efforts.
This is Pirelli s third straight year and Yokohama s second on the CDP list, while Bridgestone returns after a year s hiatus.
In addition to Bridgestone, Pirelli and Yokohama, braking systems maker Brembo S.p.A and Sumitomo Chemical Co. Ltd., which makes specialty chemicals for the rubber industry, were recognized.
