WBUR announces Daniel Schorr Journalism Prize winner

WBUR has announced that NPR’s Beijing correspondent Emily Feng is the winner of the 2022 Daniel Schorr Journalism Prize. Feng’s winning entry, “The Black Gate,” debuted on NPR’s "Up First" podcast.

A poet and a saxophonist walk into a lounge

Tucked underneath bustling Cambridge Common near Porter Square is the Lizard Lounge, a longtime gathering place for Greater Boston's poetry scene. Since 1998, the venue has hosted a reoccurring event that combines curated poetry performance with live, improvisational jazz.
