NYS employee arrested, accused of pouring cleaning solution in co-worker’s drink

A New York State employee has been arrested after allegedly putting cleaning solution into a co-worker’s drink.
New York State Police said Wednesday that Troopers arrested 33-year-old Raymond P. Pounds of Albany on three counts of Attempted Assault in the 2nd degree, a felony, and three counts of Criminal Tampering in the 3rd degree, a misdemeanor.
Pounds is accused of pouring a cleaning solution into the water bottle of a co-worker at the NYS Office of General Services on “multiple occasions.” Police said the incidents were discovered when the victim noticed that their water bottle had been tampered with and the water had an abnormal taste.
