Union Home Minister Amit Shah has presented three proposed criminal law bills—Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Sakshya Bill, and Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita—with amended versions, following recommendations from a parliamentary panel.
The government plans to introduce them afresh following various recommendations made by a parliamentary panel. These bills have undergone already thorough redrafting, incorporating recommendations from a parliamentary standing committee.
