ended well, charles? what happens? yeah, good thing for that eric. airport officials here in atlanta tell us fortunately all of the passengers on board that spirit airlines flight from tampa to atlanta are okay following a fire that broke out during the landing process this morning. eric, it was quite the sight to see. take a look at the video taken by a witness who was there as this all unfolded. you can see dark heavy smoke and bright orange flames shooting from the underbelly of spirit airlines flight 383, shortly after it landed at hartsfield-jackson atlanta international airport. according to spirit airlines, a brake got a little too hot as the flight from tampa to atlanta was landing around 9:30 this morning, and that s what s believed to have ignited the flames. as you can imagine, it was quite a scary situation for those folks on board, many of whom were confused and on edge as flight attendants tried to keep them calm.
