The time granted by the Kerala High Court to the Crime Branch of the Kerala Police to conclude the probe of the 2017 Actress Assault Case has ended on Friday
Dileep's counsel made the statement while the Court was hearing his plea seeking anticipatory bail in a case of alleged conspiracy to kill police officers investigating the sexual assault case against him.
"It is not that this case is more important than others but I hear there is a counter affidavit and lots of material to go through", the judge said while deciding to hear the matter on Saturday.
Dileep claimed in the plea that the registration of the FIR is nothing but "a vindictive and retaliatory act" of Deputy Superintendent of Police Baiju Poulose, Crime Branch.
