Public health officials advise four additional deaths in people with COVID-19 have been reported today, including:
• a male in his 60s from the Interlake-Eastern health region;
• a male in his 90s from the Northern health region;
• a male in his 60s from the Southern Health – Santé Sud health region, linked to an outbreak at the Rock Lake Hospital in Crystal City; and
• a female in her 80s from the Southern Health – Santé Sud health region, linked to an outbreak at the Rock Lake Hospital in Crystal City.
The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 7.9 per cent provincially and 4.5 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30 a.m. today, 119 new cases of the virus have been identified, bringing the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 29,564.

Manitoba s five-day test positivity rate is up by a small margin to 7.9 per cent, the release says, while Winnipeg s is up by an even smaller margin to 4.5 per cent.

There are just over 5,500 active cases of COVID-19 in the province of Manitoba as of Friday afternoon.
Public health officials have confirmed 447 new cases of the virus. However, two cases were removed due to a data correction bringing the new total to 445. The total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba is 20,392. The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 13.8 per cent provincially and 13.2 per cent in Winnipeg.
Another 14 Manitobans with COVID-19 have died. Today s death toll includes:
a male in his 50s from the Winnipeg health region;
a male in his 50s from the Winnipeg health region;
Manitoba reported its highest jump in COVID-19 cases in almost two weeks on Friday, nearly one-quarter of which are from a fly-in community in the midst of a widespread outbreak.
