In loving memory of Connie Kay (Blahna) Harstad who peacefully passed away on February 18th, 2024 at the age of 81. Connie was born to Lance and Blanche Blahna July 28, 1942 in Jamestown, North Dakota. Connie attended and graduated from Jamestown High School where she met the love of her life Bert Harstad. Connie and Bert were married February 10th, 1961 and were happily married for 41 years. They were lucky in love.
Age 55 of Duluth Passed away peacefully October 8, 2023 with family by his side. He was born August 20, 1968 to Richard (Spike) and Susan Lowinski. Rick was a long-life resident of Duluth. His passion was working on car’s and tinkering in his dad’s garage. He worked for Proctor Collision, Ziebart Rust Proofing, Amberjack tree service, Nordic snowflake ski center and various jobs in the Duluth area. He is survived by his mother Susan, sisters, Donna (Barry) MacDougall of Duluth, Kim Mullen of Saginaw, 2 brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his father Richard (Spike) Lowinski, sister Kris and niece Tracy Greenwood. Visitation will be held at 2pm followed by the Service at 3pm, October 28th at the Cremation Society of Duluth. Luncheon at Rice Lake Town Hall.
Passed away suddenly on September 17, 2023 at her home in Duluth MN at the age of 77. Survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Jim Woodard SR, and her son Jim Woodard JR; grandsons Lee and Trevor Woodard. Also survived by her brother Dennis Arthur, and sister Sally Brouillette, sister-in-law Emily Arthur, and brother-in-law Rick Woodard (Karen), along with many other wonderful nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents John and Ethyl Arthur; brothers John, Darryl, Charles, and sisters Margaret Weeks and Jean Johnston. Corrine was a 1964 graduate of Stanbrook Hall High School in Duluth. She was a member of Retail Clerks, working for Mount Royal Super Valu for 36 years before retiring in 2004. In retirement Corrine and Jim shared their time between Arizona and Duluth with my family members and wonderful friends.
