The Judiciary Committee approved a resolution declaring june 17th as Mother Emanuel Ame Church 9 day and encourages to reflect on race relation on the anniversary of the shooting in charleston that killed nine people. The resolution was approved by the house last month. A judge is giving the attorneys for a former North Charleston Police Officer accused of shooting and killing walter scott more time to investigate the case.
