One dead, another injured in early morning Southeast Austin crash, medics say
One person died and another was critically injured early Saturday following a two-vehicle crash in southeast Austin, according to medics.
Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the crash near the intersection of Dee Gabriel Collins Road and Creedmoor Road at around 2:31 a.m. Saturday.
Medics when they first arrived tweeted that both patients were trapped inside their vehicles.
One patient died at the scene, according to a later tweet from Austin-Travis county EMS. The other person was taken to a local hospital with critical, life threatening injuries.
Bishop warns Lutheran churches in NC of threats
The Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Creedmoor Road has advised parishioners that the lead bishop in the state has recommended pastors work remotely on Sunday.
The machine was broken into at the RTP Federal Credit Union at Stonehenge Market on Creedmoor Road.
Investigators believe a driver of a pickup truck tried to pull open the ATM with a chain attached to the back of the truck. Several cash boxes were found blocks away.
Money was left around the parking lot and a nearby road.
Raleigh police are investigating.
