On a new dashboard, residents can see by zip code the number of people who still need to receive a vaccine in order to reach 65% vaccination rate.
Washington, Benton, Deschutes, Hood River and Lincoln counties have all reached the goal as of Monday.
Public Health officials report Lane County needs to administer nearly 12,000 more prime doses to reach the goal. Spokesperson Jason Davis said that can happen quicker if residents take advantage of vax clinics while they are still operating.
Oregon is poised to begin administering the Pfizer vaccine to the youngest age group soon to be eligible, youth 12 to 15 years old. Lane County Public Health officials say some parents have already begun scheduling their kids for the shot.
