On Thursday, Judge Stan Whitaker spoke out against CYFD after serving a life sentence to Zerrick Marquez, who is now convicted for beating to death 4-year-old James Dunklee Cruz in 2019.
As part of a plea deal, Zerrick Marquez will spend life in prison for killing 4-year-old James Dunklee Cruz. Now attorneys representing James are filing a wrongful death suit against CYFD.
