Yesterday, SPACE on Ryder Farm, the artist residency program and organic farm located in Brewster, New York, announced the participants for its 2021 residency season.
The SPACE team is thrilled that residents will once again be welcomed to Ryder Farm, bringing the organization’s creative spirit back to life. SPACE has spent the past year preparing for a residency program that is safe, productive and restorative, with the hope that time on the farm will give artists and innovators time and space to get back to their vital creative work. February 2021 669 The winners of the seventh Creative Tourism Awards, created by the World Creative Tourism Network to reward projects and destinations around the world that are committed to tourism, have been announced. In the wake of new economies, creative tourism offers a sustainable model of tourism that meets the new demand of travellers in terms of authentic and creative experiences while generating a value chain on the territories and local communities. In order to foster the good practices of creative tourism, these awards foster authenticity, innovation and sustanability. The international jury of the Creative Tourism Awards, composed of international experts in tourism marketing and creative economy, assumed the heavy task of selecting the winners among a total of 184 applicants from 37 countries. The main criteria were the use of creativity to design unique experiences and to create an ecosystem at a local scape.
