Eyes on the Outdoors
For those who tested her this fall by not completing yard work and other outdoor chores in a timely manner, Mother Nature gave us a reprieve. Not wishing to push my luck and put her to the test, I spent several hours outdoors last weekend and throughout this week trying to get done numerous projects that should have been done weeks ago.
There was a good deal of raking and mulching of leaves that needed to be taken care of, as well as the pruning of several shrubs; picking up of branches; draining and disconnecting water hoses, collecting, cleaning and putting away flowerpots; and emptying the rain barrel.
