Community Meetings - Gateway Area Plan Please come and learn about the Gateway Area Plan expansion and the effects it could have on all of Arcata. First Tuesdays of every month at the Playhouse (Creamery Building). The plan shows a new truck-route road on L Street, right next to the pathway and Creamery. How about 7-story buildings in Arcata and yet no provisions for housing that regular working Arcatans can afford. Bayview, Northtown, and Sunset neighborhoods are up for re-zoning to 6-story buildings and commercial storefronts. You can participate in this important process for the future of our Community.
