Businesses and residents, including students engaged in online classes, in some sections of St Mary are set to experience inconvenience with their electrical supply on Monday.
The Jamaica Public Service Company (JPS) is reporting that residents are to be affected by a disruption to their power supply in order to facilitate critical maintenance work in sections of the parish.
The company, in an advisory, stated that the planned outage is required to facilitate vegetation management and the straightening of poles on major lines serving residents.
The service disruption is to take place from 8:45 am to 5 pm on Monday, March 15.
