Man identified after being found dead in car near Speedway Super Center Friday Lawrence Andrea, Indianapolis Star Replay Video Update: This story has been updated with more information about the man found dead in his car.  Speedway police have launched a homicide investigation after a man was found dead in a car near the Speedway Super Center early Friday morning. Officers with the Speedway Police Department responded to the 5800 block of Crawfordsville Road around 4 a.m. and found a man in his early 20s dead in the driver s seat of car, according to SPD Lieutenant Jim Thiele. © Michelle Pemberton/IndyStar
