A popular crawfish restaurant will not open this year for the first time 40 years due to COVID concerns. Hawks Crawfish Restaurant in Rayne is not opening this year but they are planning on reopening next crawfish season. Owners posted on their Facebook page that the restaurant will not open, Because of our moral obligation to the health and safety of our staff and customers, and because of the large crowds that we generate in our facility, we have decided NOT to open for the 2021 crawfish season due to the covid 19 virus and the toll it has taken on the public.
