A historic period house with a storied past and a host of top-notch modern features including a helipad, a bar and a private Scandinavian-style log cabin is on the market in the U.K. for £4.25 million (US$5.8 million).
Built sometime in the late 1800s, the manor’s history extends far beyond its actual construction.
Another home once stood on the property, a large mansion built some 200 years earlier that was the longtime home of General James Oglethorpe, according to listing agency Savills who listed the home in December.
