SPOKANE On Aug. 25, the United States Marshals Service Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force in eastern Washington completed a two-week warrant sweep titled, “Operation Centennial Trail,” according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Within a span of two weeks, law enforcement partners focused on apprehending violent fugitives and repeat offenders who were a risk to public safety within eastern Washington, said the release. The task force was led by the U.S. Marshals, but included numerous law enforcement agencies from eastern Washington.
