JONESBORO â Construction of restrooms at the Jonesboro shooting sports complex will be on the agenda Tuesday for the city council.
The councilâs finance and administration committee endorsed a change order last week to a contract with Ramsonâs Inc. to add the restrooms to the job assignment.
At the request of Mayor Harold Perrin and Police Chief Rick Elliott, the council agreed to add $500,000 to this yearâs capital improvement budget for the additional project. Elliott he wanted to avoid having to use portable toilets for the first events. Construction of the restrooms had initally been planned for a later stage of construction.
