Duke
Duke Energy says its carbon reduction is now 40% versus its 2005 number.
Duke also continued to oversee the largest coal closure in the industry, having already retired approximately 6,500 Megawatts since 2010.
They also plan to retire all coal-only units by 2030 in the Carolinas and shorten average retirement dates by 40% in Indiana.
Duke will also invest millions into new battery storage investments.

Recereational vehicles are hitting the roads at a pace never seen before as the COVID-19 pandemic has driven more Americans to explore the country.
SHIPSHEWANA â The demand for new recreational vehicles is still going strong, according to industry research, and that demand shows no signs of going away anytime soon.
According to the newly released data from the RV Industry Associationâs March 2021 survey of manufacturers, more RVs made their way to RV dealerships across North America in March than in any prior single month. The 54,291 wholesale RV units shipped this past March is a more than 5% increase over the previous record set in March of 2018.
The March shipments also bring total RV shipments in the first quarter of 2021 to a record-breaking 148,507 units, a nearly 10% increase over the previous record set in the first quarter of 2018.
