The Knoxville Optimist Club will sponsor a Essay Contest in conjunction with the Iowa District Optimist. The theme of the essay is “Reaching your Dreams by Choosing Optimism” and all Knoxville High School students are eligible. The winner of the Knoxville contest will receive $250.00 to be used for college expenses. The winning essay will be submitted to the Iowa District Optimist contest where the winner receives a $2500.00 scholarship.
