Craig Keatley - known as FlipperKeatz for his habit of donning flippers to take part in endurance events - is taking to the hills for his latest charity challenge. The dad-of-two is well-known for his bizarre fundraising activities which have included walking 51 miles from Blackpool to Manchester and now has a gruelling set of fundraising challenges in store. Craig says the best way to walk in flippers is to walk like Monty Python legend John Cleese!

A MAN who dubs himself the ‘world s only extreme flipper walker’ is set to tackle Snowdon for his next charitable adventure. Craig Keatley, 52, from Stoneclough, has already raised more than £11,000 for The Christie, with his next challenge one of the most demanding he has taken on so far. Craig was recently spotted training around Farnworth park, with social media users commenting on the uniqueness of his approach to his challenge. He said: “I started doing it in 2015 after waking up one morning and thinking, ‘I haven’t done anything for ages’. I just thought that I would do something a funny and a bit quirky.
