LAS VEGAS In Las Vegas, which bills itself as the "Entertainment Capital of the World," an NFL Draft bereft of star quarterback prospects wouldn't seem a fit.
The Pittsburgh Steelers drafted Michigan State TE Connor Heyward, the younger brother of All-Pro DT Cam Heyward, on Saturday, giving the team s roster its fourth set of brothers.
As Connor Heyward went through the pre-draft process, he continually felt interest from the Steelers.
However, actually getting selected by Pittsburgh was a little too much for the Michigan State.
The Steelers selected tight end Connor Heyward with the No. 208 overall pick in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft on Saturday. The Michigan State product is the younger brother of Pittsburgh star Cam Heyward.
Eight teams traded out of the 2022 first round, giving some fanbases an additional wait. But the second round of the draft has produced Hall of Famers for several teams and longtime starters for others.
