Brewers swept by Royals; drop game two 6-4 Another tough loss for the Brewers wrapping up their brief stint in Kansas City. Hear Manager Craig Counsell’s thoughts, the highlights from Wednesday night’s game, and an appearance from Craig Coshun of Bally Sports Wisconsin in the full, uninterrupted edition of Brewers Extra Innings with Matt Pauley KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) The Kansas City Royals hung around long enough to watch Brewers ace Corbin Burnes head for the showers. Then they pounced on the Milwaukee bullpen. Jorge Soler hit a slump-busting homer to tie the game, Nicky Lopez bunted home the go-ahead run, and the Kansas City Royals used a late rally to squeak past the Brewers 6-4 on Wednesday night to wrap up a two-game sweep their first series win over Milwaukee since June 2015.

Brewers drop series opener to Braves 6-3; Urias & Pina go deep. Well, it wasn’t pretty, like at all, until the 9th inning for the Brewers who drop their series opener to the Atlanta Braves at Am Fam Field Friday night 6-3. Matt Pauley breaks it all down live from the ball park in another edition of Brewers Extra Innings. He is joined by Bally Sports Wisconsin’s Craig Coshun, we hear the comments from the Skipper, and recap the game with the highlights – unfortunately more for the Braves than the Brewers – on Brewers Extra Innings! Enjoy

A year later playing club baseball for UW-Madison, the dream was still in his head.
