About a dozen March Forth in Chamber s noontime walk

Roughly a dozen people showed up to “March Forth” on Thursday for the start of a new Bedford County Chamber of Commerce networking opportunity. The weekly event will give members of the local community the chance to network, get some exercise and grab a quick lunch. Participants met at the Bedford Elks Country Club pavilion and walked along the Shuster Way Heritage Trail to the Craig Ashe Bridge and back, where lunches were served. Before they set out, chamber president and CEO Kellie Goodman-Shaffer told the group that “March Forth” was the only day of the year that was also a sentence.
