WEST NORRITON â A West Norriton man allegedly âshook the lifeâ out of his infant daughter who authorities said died from âinflicted head traumaâ caused by âvigorous movement of the head.â
Craig Arthur Lee Baylis, 31, of the 100 block of Centre Avenue, was arraigned on Wednesday before District Court Judge Marc Alfarano on charges of third-degree murder and endangering the welfare of a child in connection with the Feb. 22, 2021, death of this 6-week-old daughter, Mackenna Baylis.
Given the homicide-related charge, bail was denied and Baylis was remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility to await a June 7 preliminary hearing on the charges before Alfarano.
