Cristobal “Cris” Magno Rodrigo, 59, from Washington state, was sentenced to two years in federal prison for violating the Indian Arts and Crafts Act.
The definition could be changed to include art made by a business that is "at least 50% owned by an Indian," which could include some non-Native labor.
