Youve got a whole lot of fog all the way into the south bay. You can see in san jose there is not a lot of sunshine for you just yet. We are looking at those great conditions all the way from the south bay on up the bayshore, especially the east bay shoreline. Very fogged in there through the carquinez and up into parts of the north bay as well as the coast where were seeing low visibility. It gets real low really quickly. So make sure youre being mindful of that as youre driving into work. Dont be rushing. Give yourself some extra time this morning. We have dense fog advisories for almost all of the north bay issued by the National Weather service through 10 00am this morning. So a

Is packed in a really dense and where youre seeing it. It gets low visibility really quick. So dont be deceived. You might be leaving the house to give yourselves whats shown talking about. Its blue. Next minute youre in this is what we got in san jose where it is very great down there as well. We are starting to see that fog at least lifting in the south bay. So that means less visibility issues. Still some pockets that are bad, though. We are starting to see about half of the east bay cleared out. The closer you get to the hillsides there. Oh, its nice and sunny, then you drop down close to the bay shore and all the sudden it gets real great. Real quick. Also through the carquinez, some dense fog there and up into the north bay down in the valleys, you head up into the hillsides and its abundantly sunny, then down into the valleys. It is very foggy. Police say over the weekend that city surpassed its one 100th homicide of the year. And this is the 4th year the city has suffered more than 100 killings. The city has unfortunately been seeing all kinds of crime going up. City Officials Say the city has seen a 21 rise in crime since last year. 35 more robberies. 22 1 more carjackings. 51 more car thefts. And 36 more burglaries. Mayor sheng thao is expected to lay out her plan for addressing crime in oakland tomorrow in her first state of the city addr
