We had an amazing showing at the district track meet. Our boys and girls teams have qualified 14 athletes to State. The top 4 placers in each event will compete at the State Track Meet, where we have some possibilities of bringing home even more medals as well as some possible new records.
Krissie Sanders broke one of our oldest records in the 300 Hurdles with a time of 44.75 which could be good enough to win State.
We dominated in the throwing events, winning the boys and girls shot & discus events. In the discus our boys team took the top 3 places, with Coy Braithwaite throwing 154ft and marking the 2nd best throw in the State so far this year. Kylie Trueba won both shot and discus on the girls side.
