Public Meetings Set for One For Coweta Sales Tax Vote
All Coweta residents are invited to a series of public meetings to share information, answer questions, and see firsthand the needs driving the One for Coweta sales tax vote that will be put before Coweta voters on Sept. 14th. The first of these meetings is happening Thursday, July 29th, at 6:30 pm at the Coweta Fire Station at 214 N Broadway, Coweta, OK 74429. Those in attendance will be able to ask questions and take a tour of the current public safety facility. The police station portion was completed in 1940 and the fire station addition was made in 1985. In addition to much-needed public safety improvements, this sales tax proposal would provide dedicated revenue for street projects and parks projects.
