If I wasn t hungry before, I definitely am now!
Last week I was talking to my mom back in Michigan, and she told me that she and my aunt want to come visit me here in Cedar Rapids this summer. My first thought was: where are we going to eat?
Whenever I have friends or family come visit, I like to take them out to eat at some of my favorite places. I was trying to come up with a list, but I ended up with WAY too many good ones. We can t possibly eat at 10 different places over the course of three days, so I decided to share that list with you! Some of these places I ve eaten at 100 times, others I just recently became obsessed with. Here are ten places in Cedar Rapids that I think everyone should try at least once:
Texas Twinkies, the Cowboy Burger, and all you can eat Fish Fry on Friday nights are just the beginning of the great reasons to make the drive to Country City in Cameron.
Officially it s Country City Saloon & Grill, and recently I made the drive out from Temple to check out the place. Being new to Central Texas, I love being able top go see what the surrounding areas have to offer. It was about a 45 minute drive from the US-105 studios, and as we left Temple and entered the country, the traffic lightened up and I turned the radio up and felt like I had the road mostly to myself.
