Tickets are still available for the 35th Tennessee Renaissance Festival, set to kick off with opening weekend May 8 and 9.
Guests will travel back in time to the 16th century village of Covington Glen, where magic, comedy and music are just part of the fun. There will also be pirate shows, birds of prey demonstrations by Knightwings, Robin Hood shows, witty performances by Axel the Sot, free childrenâs knighting ceremonies and a royal masquerade mask contest daily.
A bus ride to Castle Gwynn is included with admission and runs 11 a.m.-3 p.m., weather permitting, on all festival days. There, guests can view the awe-inspiring architecture and learn the history of the building project.Â
