Hillsboro varsity baseball earned their first win of the 2023 season by defeating Rock Hill in their second game of the Deb’s Wooden Bat Classic hosted by Whiteoak as Hillsboro’s two games in the Saturday tournament were held at Shaffer Park.
The Hillsboro Indians came close to a Frontier Athletic Conference victory on Wednesday night, but their seventh-inning rally fell just short with the host Chillicothe Cavaliers defeating the visiting Indians, 9-8.
